Greg Johnsen, Jackie McGuire, Julie Prince, and Sue Ritz joined together to fight back against the status quo. Out-of-town PACs poured hundreds of thousands of dollars into nasty and inflammatory mailers, commercials, texts, and street signs targeting Marana for the People. A&E fought back and developed a sophisticated grassroots program that knocked on over 30,000 doors and sent over 100,000 texts.
